I've seen quite a few around Amsterdam. Enough to grab my attention and make me want to know more…
It is officially the smallest car in the world, it's manufactured in the Netherlands by Waaijenberg, production commenced in 1998, they are surprisingly expensive, and apparently you don't need a license to drive them. If you can drive a moped you drive one of these guys. Needless to say parking is not a problem, and in fact I've seen them parked alongside bikes more than I have seen them in actual car spaces.
Wonder what they're like to drive?, probably not great. Does it really matter when they are adding a good vibrant pop of colour, and humour to our urban landscape? I think not!
