It was held at the home of Dutch investors Kate and Joost close to Vondel Park. It was a relaxed tasting, sampling it neat, with 1724 tonic, and as beautiful florescent orange Negronis with a twist of blood orange peel. The makers behind this perfectly crafted gin are trained wine makers and they have used these skills to create this "perfect, classic" gin. It is described as a spicy yet citrus truly Australian gin, made with cardamon, cinnamon, star anise, Tasmanian pepper berry and lemon myrtle. It was launched late 2013 and has already been awarded the double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco this year.
