So you may have noticed that there is a lot of facial hair on our men these days, and perhaps not surprisingly there is a bit of a trend back to the ways of the traditional barber too. Murdock's flagship store opened in Redchurch Street, Shoreditch in 2006, the epicentre of London fashion. They have since gone on to open in another 5 locations. The men of London obviously like to indulge in a bit of pampering. Services include hair dressing, shaving, facials, head massage and shoe shine.
The joy doesn't stop there. You can buy all the tools of the trade, and all the necessary (and not so necessary) products. You can keep it contemporary with a razor, or can go old school with blades, brushes and mugs. They have products for the hair, face, beard, moustache and skin. Plus the product range also includes colognes "inspired by beautiful locations from across the globe."
All their products are made in England using natural and organic ingredients where possible and have a definitive British style. The good news for all non Londoners, the products are also available online.
