How about a great contemporary yet warm interior, food, bar and friendly staff? Head to Wannemakers in Amsterdam. I walked past one day, knew I had to go back, and did. I sampled a simple salad of grilled vegetables, rocket, pinenuts with balsamic dressing, and a crisp, cold glass of Sables Fauves Blancs. I was in a little bubble of happiness.
I kept it simple but they have full lunch and dinner menus which look great, plus a fabulous "Bubbling" section. This is dedicated to drink snacks…
